Rare period in the year when the southern winter objects come around the big tree. About 4.5 hours on this Sharpless Catalogue region in Monoceros. Sh2-282 is slightly to big to get entirely on the frame, and is surprisingly bright, but somewhat overshadowed by nearby objects.

Take with an Skywatcher 200 Newtonian telescope using an Astrodon 3nm Hydrogen Alpha filter and an Atik 490 CCD Camera.
