View full sized image of IC410 Sharpless 236, NGC1893
cThis image really shows the power of the 3nm Astrodon hydrogen alpha filter. IC410 (Sharpless 236, NGC 1893) was only 30 degrees from an almost full Moon. 15x1200s exposures still gives a satisfactory image. Although contrast is lowered and washed out by the moon, the main features are still visible.
This object is part of the Sharpless Catalogue of HII regions
