This image of NGC281 was created using 17x1200s Ha and 15x1200s OIII using a Skywatch 200 Newtonian telescope and an Atik 490 CCD camera. A synthetic green channel was created in photoshop. The OIII was taken last night with an 8nm Baader OIII filter and the Ha taken with a Astrodon 3nm filter a few weeks ago under full Moon.

cThe colour image of NGC281 was created using 17x1200s exposure through the Astrodon 3nm Ha filter and 15x1200s exposure through a Baader 8nm OIII filter and a synthetic green created in photoshop. The Ha was taken under full Moon, and the OIII last night with no Moon.

This object is part of the Sharpless Catalogue of HII regions

This image was autoguided using my homemade off axis guider with Lodestar.
