Multiple imaging rigs come in all sorts of shapes and configurations. This software covers the scenarios.
In this scenario (the left-hand video) we have one telescope mount and one computer. Two cameras are attached to the one computer. One camera is run in TheSkyX (The Sky X) along with the mount connection and autoguiding/dither. The other camera is run in CCDSoft.
This is quite a common situation where multiple computers are not desired and focusmax v4 us used to manage the focusing of the two cameras
Our software monitors TheSkyX/ The Sky X and triggers a new exposure in CCDSoft when the exposure starts in TheSkyX
We have one telesocpe mount but two computers. One computer runs TheSkyX and connects to the telescope mount. This computer controls one of the cameras along with the autoguiding and dithering.
The second computer just runs TheSkyX and the second cameras
Our software will run on the first "master" computer and trigger an exposure on TheSkyX on the remote computer
The situation above could be done on one computer using two instances of TheSkyX
I'm happy to undertake a bespoke job to adapt the software to your needs contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org

The software can be downloaded from here. Please ensure you have .net framework 4.5 installed on your computer. Windows XP is no longer supported. I strongly recommend downloading the demo and trying it out.
Note: Because I haven't paid a fee to Microsoft, windows 8 will pop up the "SmartScreen" protection window when running this. Press more info and "run anyway"
The software is available for a one-off price of £50.
The software can be run without an unlock in evaluation / trial mode.
The software in evaluation mode will not stop running after a certain date this is impractical in the world of astronomy. Each time start is pressed, the software will run for 15 minutes before needing to be restarted. This will allow you to evaluate with short exposures (e.g. 60s) and evaluation the software.
The software can be restarted after 15 minutes for an unlimited number of times.
Various nag prompts are also present in the evaluation period. You will be prompted for an unlock each time the master software opens.
These restrictions allow you to prove the software will work on your system if you wish the software to be unlocked please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for payment details.
