Object name: NGC3190 Hickson 44, NGC 3187, NGC 3185, NGC 3193
Apparent RA: 10 18 05.6  Apparent Dec:+21 49 58
Constellation: Leo

The Hickson 44 galaxy group frames quite nicely in my field of view. Unfortunately the evening was plagued by passing clouds so only about 1 hour of exposure time. I'm quite surprised - these little galaxies have quite a lot of surface brightness.
In the middle is NGC 3190 with the dust lane and the funky looking NGC 3187 to the right. Above these is the ellipical NGC 3193 and the nicely detailed NGC 3185 at the bottom. Numerous smaller and more distant galaxies are just visible in the background.

Collectively the whole bunch is known as Arp 316
Really need a lot more exposure for this, but perhaps next year. Amusingly I note that I imaged this region once before with a modified webcam 10 years go. See here for that picture of these galaxies in Leo
