Here is some more work from my 135mm telephoto lens. This is a 35mm camera lens mounted on my Artemis 285 camera with an Astrodon 6nm Ha filter in the chain. The lens is focused with a belt and stepper motor arrangement.

There are many interesting Sharpless Ha regions, and this one near IC1396 fills the frame nicely.

I had planned for a much longer exposure on this object, but the weather has other ideas.

Captured in ArtemisCapture, calibrated in ImagetoolsCa, combined in maxim, thuggery in photoshop. Total integration time 2 hours

This image was autoguided using my homemade off axis guider and my black and white SC1 webcam.
