Constellation: Cygnus

The 135mm SLR with the artemis gives a useful field of view for the North American Nebula. I know there are lots of images of the NAB, but in all these years, I've never actually done one, so here it is! I didn't put he 135mm wide open, I stopped the aperture down by two clicks to sharpen stuff up.

Captured in ArtemisCapture, calibrated in ImagetoolsCa, combined in maxim, thuggery in photoshop. Total integration time 3.5 hours.

This image was autoguided using my homemade off axis guider and my black and white SC1 webcam.
