For my first large image of the season, I've chosen the complex Elephant Trunk area within large IC 1396 region. Lots of twisting clouds and emission make this a fun target for the 6nm hydrogen Alpha filter. Nearly 4 hours total integration time. I'd love to add more, but the british climate does not look favourably on long integrations.
VBB 142 is the small bright nebula in the "eye" of the dark feature. The whole area has many many designations for the different features
Note the suspected proplyds in the upper left.
