Noel Carboni and Greg Parker at the New Forest Observatory recently imaged M31 with a colour CCD Camera. Although their colour image is of lower resolution (but much larger FOV), I have used it as a chrominance layer with my black and white image as luminance.

Had to be done really... I now *hate* mosaics. This is 4 frames from the M31 region. Mostly taken during moonlight. The M32 panel has suffer greatly with a bad gradient. I've spent many hours trying to get this mosaic presentable... I *know* it can look better - I know the core region has a lot more detail, but because it is right on the join it is very difficult to get the core details showing, yet keep the mosaic presentable. Maybe I'll have another go at some point.
