This is a widefield shot of NGC 6543. I took this almost as a demonstration of the sensitivity of the SC3 modified toucam webcams. This is not using long exposures! Only 1/25th of a second. Almost like taking an image of a planet. Perhaps that is why they call it a planetary nebula! ;-)
There is a curious glow down one side. This might mean I need to twiddle with the Amp off bias or it could just be moonlight leaking in.
