My first attempt at the Blackeye Galaxy with the SC3 camera. Last years SC1 effort can be found here. I'd hoped for better detail in the "black eye" but I am happy with this result. Maybe I need to use more focal length. The image has been processed to show the faint outer regions of the galaxy, although these are admittedly rather noisey.

Captured in k3ccdtools, stacked with 250 frame dark in registax v3. Stacked version exported to tiff. Slight wavelets in registax and exported as tiff. Curves in photoshop on unsharpened version. Core of sharpened version layered over the unsharpened version.
