M82 Ursa Major A astrophotography CCD images at the Curdridge Observatory

A hydrogen alpha view of this familar cigar shaped galaxy shows the starburst core bright in hydrogen alpha. Vastly more exposure is required to do this object justice in Ha, but interesting nevertheless.
