Making money fast online with the internet: The honest truth.
It ain't easy!!
An extremely popular trend for making money online has sprung up out of the Adsense program. Adsense is very simple. You create content on your website for others to find in search engines and read. This content is then embedded with Adsense adverts. Visitors click on the adverts, and, hey presto! you make a few cents of "free" online money.
Except of course it is not "free money" as such. You had to input your valuable time to write the content. Now, if you happen to have large amounts of free time that you waste profitlessly watching the television or playing computer games, then, this is a tempting opportunity.
However, most of the people looking on the internet for ways to make money online has one thing in common in their fortune seeking quests. They don't, as a rule, want to go to any effort. This created a Golden Opportunity for the internet money making marketers. There are a lot of websites out there selling complete, ready made websites for you to put your adsense adverts on, and start instantly making money online.
How can this work? Well, I am sure it works very well for the people selling these websites. They pocket the money you give them for the website. They probably do very nicely out of it, otherwise they wouldn't be doing it now, would they?
What does the punter get? I've never tried it myself, but I don't doubt you get a nice looking website, stuffed full of large amounts of content. You put on your Adsense code, and sit back whilst the money rolls in. Except, I would be very surprised if it does. If I was a manufacturer, and I had put time and effort into making a new product, would I just sell the prototype? No. Of course not. I'd produce lots of copies of the product, and sell those to lots of customers. I assume this is what the "Made for Adsense" website makes do. They simply sell the same website over and over again. Or perhaps each website itself is unique, but it is built up from a database of articles and content.
So what? Why shouldn't your nice new adsense website make any money? Because it has no traffic! The Adsense adverts are sitting there in cyberspace and nobody is going to visit them. The reason for this is twofold. First, the content in your new website will be on other websites, and, more likely than not, these websites will attract the visitors from the slim pool of possible visitors in your niche. Secondly, Google hates non-unique content. Whilst Google trawls the web and indexes its content, it checks pages to see if their content is duplicated on other site. If it discovers non-unique content, it penalises those websites, reducing their position in the search results.
If your position in the search results is low, then you will not get any traffic. You will not make any money. In fact, I bet that you will grow bored of the whole thing before you even recoup the cost of the "made for adsense" website in the first place.
I suspect, in some cases, these sites can be made to work, if you are prepared to go to great effort marketing your website. However, I think it would be more profitable to simply expend your effort writing your own unique content, and doing a small amount of marketing. If you have good, useful and unique content, then the search engine visitors will come - maybe not in hordes, but you will get some!
The only cash that I can see changing hands in the majority of "made for adsense" website sales, is the website creator collecting the fee from the poor fool who thought that this would be an effortless way to make fast money online.
There is no free way to make money online.
